Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy input to various wards, including Chine Ward, St. Ann's (Female treatment), Seavie ward, St Ann's (acute assessment unit), Harbour ward, St. Ann's (Male treatment), Alumhurst ward, St. Ann's (Non-Organic Older People' Mental Health), and Haven Ward, St. Ann's Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy plans to support patients with mental health problems.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
