Performing Arts Teacher Job in Cambridgeshire

A mixed academy situated close to the beautiful city of Cambridgeshire is seeking an experienced and newly qualified Drama Teacher to join their successful performing arts department. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Drama or similar and QTS or PGCE qualifications.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to shape and develop their own career within an exciting and highly supportive environment as a Theatre Educator. The school believes that their staff are the most important factor in making an impact for pupils and has put every measure in place to allow you to assist in the most effective way possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Drama KS3/4 and KS5 to students across the ability range
  • Developing and delivering interesting and engaging sequences of lessons under the guidance of the Director of Drama
  • Working closely with the rest of the team in planning and delivering lessons

Requirements:

  • QTS or PGCE qualification
  • Degree in Drama or similar
  • Experience of teaching Drama to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
