Babcock International Group is working to create a safe and secure world, together, and as an Aviation Training Specialist, you can play your part at our Yeovilton site.

The Role

As an Aviation Training Specialist, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Make a difference with us by providing flying training using Grob E aircraft, in a fast-paced, challenging and real-life operational setting critical to future defence output.

Day-to-day, you'll support dedicated students on a 31 hour flying syllabus that caters to elements such as navigation, aerobatics. You will attend briefings to identify weather conditions for the day before joining preparation briefings before flying sessions with your students. You will also:

  • Ensure that all other related support activities and services are provided under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and Flight Commander

This role is full time 40 hours per week and is based on site at Yeovilton.

Essential Experience of the Aviation Training Specialist

  • Flying instructional experience

Qualifications for the Aviation Training Specialist

  • UK or JAA CPL(A) SEP, IR and FI (unrestricted) rating including Class 1 medical.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
