Job Summary

Bath College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Apprenticeship Programme, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment to apprentices in the plumbing trade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Assessment: Provide induction, assessment, training, coaching, and assessment to apprentices undertaking Apprenticeship Programmes in plumbing.
  • Apprentice Support: Train, assess, support, advise, and assist apprentices during their training, both at college and in the workplace.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assess apprentices' progress and maintain records of assessments of learning carried out.
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrate a commitment to completing the TAQA Assessor Award within 12 months and possess industry qualifications, including CENWAT, CCN/1, CKR, HTR1, MET1, and CONGLP1.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade B or above, and qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a heating and plumbing discipline.
  • Industry Experience: Full UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle.
