Financial Reporting and Governance Manager

A leading global business based in the UK is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting and Governance Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with a background in audit to take on a key role in managing and monitoring corporate finance policies, IFRS standards, and internal controls frameworks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and updating controls and processes, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and other accounting standards and policies. They will also play a key role in managing the company's balance sheet reviews and supporting external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage corporate finance policies, IFRS standards, and internal control frameworks
  • Review and update controls and processes to ensure compliance with IFRS and other accounting standards
  • Manage balance sheet reviews and support external audits
  • Review business critical reconciliations in areas of revenues, collections, duty, and taxes
  • Partner with finance teams to ensure effective financial processes
  • Supervise a team of Reconciliation Controllers
  • Review Payroll reconciliations and perform compliance reviews
  • Prepare annual financial statements and liaise with tax teams
  • Map, develop, and implement standard financial processes

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA) with minimum 3 years PQE
  • Exceptional analytical skills and understanding of complex system applications
  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Experience with an audit firm
  • Strong stakeholder experience

This role offers a competitive salary, car allowance, and a good bonus package.
