A leading global business is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting and Governance Manager to join their team in Colnbrook.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring all corporate finance policies, IFRS standards, and internal controls frameworks to minimize business risk.

The role will involve reviewing and updating controls and processes, ensuring full compliance with IFRS and other accounting standards and policies.

  • Monitor corporate finance policies, IFRS standards, and internal control frameworks
  • Manage company's balance sheet reviews
  • Support external audits and reviews
  • Review business critical reconciliations in revenues, collections, duty, and taxes
  • Business partnering with finance teams, including Shared Services, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and Pensions
  • Reviewing and updating controls
  • Balance Sheet management
  • Supervising a team of Reconciliation Controllers
  • Reviewing Payroll reconciliations
  • Performing compliance reviews
  • Preparing annual financial statements, including liaising with the UK tax team for Corporation Tax Return
  • Preparing annual adjustments for the DB Pension Scheme
  • Mapping, developing, and implementing standard financial processes, including month-end, group reporting, statutory reporting, and cash flow monitoring

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, ideally ACA, with a minimum of 3 years PQE, and experience working as an Auditor.

They will also have exceptional analytical skills, a strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, and experience with an audit firm.
