About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) at Oak Green School. As a SENCO, you will play a key role in supporting students with SEND, developing and implementing individualised plans to meet their needs, and working closely with teachers, support staff, parents/carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years teaching experience, preferably in a primary or early years setting
  • Experience of working with students with SEND
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents/carers, and other professionals
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, with some flexibility to work from home or attend meetings remotely. The successful candidate will have access to a range of training and development opportunities to support their ongoing professional development.
