IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and confident problem solver to join our client's IT support team in Lincoln. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and resolving technical issues in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Offer support to customers through phone and email, ensuring a prompt and effective resolution to their queries.
  2. Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by users, utilizing your analytical skills to identify and resolve complex problems.
  3. Correct data issues and produce reports as necessary, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with SLAs.
  4. Log all support interactions in the ticketing system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  5. Prioritize and manage tickets, ensuring timely resolution and meeting customer expectations.
  6. Educate customers on best practices and provide guidance on IT-related matters.

Requirements:

  1. Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  2. Experience in customer-facing support, particularly in application or technical support.
  3. Proficiency in report generation and data analysis.
  4. Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, while maintaining individual responsibilities.
