Senior HR Business Partner

Our client, a leading construction firm, is seeking a seasoned Senior HR Business Partner to join their dynamic team in Newry. As a key member of the HR department, you will play a pivotal role in managing the contractual and employment aspects of the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the contractual and employment side of HR, ensuring seamless transitions from recruitment to onboarding.
  • Manage and maintain accurate people data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Handle the migration process for candidates moving between countries and transitioning to new employment contracts.
  • Stay updated and ensure compliance with European regulations and employment laws.
  • Provide strategic HR support and guidance to senior management on all employment-related matters.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in HR with a focus on contractual and employment matters.
  • In-depth knowledge of European employment regulations and laws.
  • Proven experience managing people data and ensuring data protection compliance.
  • Experience with employee migration, including international relocations and new employment contracts.
  • Background in the construction industry in a similar role.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Newry, 5 days a week.
