About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Consultant Principal to join our team at Argus. As a key member of our downstream oil market analysis team, you will be responsible for providing regular research-based analysis and forecasts of international crude, refined products, and LPG markets.

Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us drive the direction and focus of our team, identifying new areas of analysis, and developing data sets and models to support forecasting. You will also contribute to the development and commercialization of our existing products and pursue the development and commercialization of new ones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the direction and focus of the team
  • Identify new areas of analysis and associated business opportunities
  • Develop data sets and models to support forecasting
  • Contribute to the development and commercialization of existing products
  • Pursue the development and commercialization of new products
Requirements
  • Experience in and knowledge of the oil industry and markets, particularly the downstream
  • Proven track record in an analytical role, in another consultancy or industry player
  • Strong leadership potential
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Intellectually curious and able to demonstrate structured problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks to deadline and meet targets
