Job Title: Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with a Local Authority in Bexley to provide financial advice and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial advice and support to the defined service area, focusing on revenue and capital monitoring, budget setting, and account closure processes.
  • Ensure financial information is accurate, balanced, and accessible to decision-makers.
  • Utilize financial data analytics to inform budget monitoring and long-term financial planning.
  • Collaborate with services to ensure accurate information input and proper responses to system outputs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the service area by regularly spending time with the management team.
Requirements:
  • Qualified CCAB Accountant or equivalent relevant finance qualification.
  • Participation in Continuing Professional Development.
  • Accounting and budgeting experience, with a sound knowledge of local government finance framework, accounting principles, and standards.
What We Offer:
  • A 5-month contract with a high likelihood of extension.
  • A competitive rate of pay: £343.07- £452.78 per Day.
  • The opportunity to work with a Local Authority in Bexley and contribute to the appointment of a Finance Business Partner.
