Senior Digital Design Director Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Digital Design Director to join our team at Next15. As a key member of our Creative Technology team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of complex digital projects for our biggest clients.

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing creative strategies based on audience insight for enterprise websites, mobile applications, and campaigns that meet our clients' goals.

Working closely with account leads and strategists, you will translate client goals, target audiences, and brand identities into effective creative strategies.

Key responsibilities will include conceptualising and building inventive and compelling design concepts across multiple digital channels.

As a Senior Digital Design Director, you will also be responsible for ensuring that all creative work meets the agency's standards of quality, usability, accessibility, and brand consistency.

You will have the opportunity to participate in client presentations and meetings to articulate the agency's creative vision and build trust and relationships with clients.

Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to ensure that creative work is delivered on time, on budget, and with excellent quality.

As a leader, you will maintain the quality of design throughout the team for all phases of project delivery.

You will also be responsible for line managing, mentoring, and inspiring our designers in the UK and US, motivating them to make an impact.

Key requirements for this role include in-depth experience covering digital design, UX, UI, and design systems, preferably in an agency environment or equivalent setting.

Proven experience in conceptualising, designing, and delivering effective digital experiences across multiple platforms and channels is also essential.

Clear communication and collaboration skills, as well as a deep understanding of digital marketing principles, trends, and best practices, are also required.

Proficiency in relevant digital design and prototyping tools, such as Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, is also a must.
