About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join our in-house Digitisation team in Inverness. As a key member of our team, you will support the BIM Manager in developing processes, templates, and models, while providing guidance to our Quality Assurance, Design, and Project teams on BIM-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support BIM coordination on projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and data exchange.
  • Utilize Revit to support design teams, providing expertise and guidance on BIM best practices.
  • Assist project teams with BIM queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Conduct regular Model Review exercises to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform Coordination and Clash Detection exercises to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to the development of our business BIM structure, driving innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
  • A Degree/HND/HNC in Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with 3D modelling software, with a strong understanding of ISO:19650 and UK building construction fundamentals.
  • The ability to work quickly and accurately, with a good working knowledge of Autodesk BIM3360, Revit, and Navisworks Manage.
  • A UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
