About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join our in-house Digitisation team in Inverness. As a key member of our team, you will support the BIM Manager in developing processes, templates, and models, while providing guidance to our Quality Assurance, Design, and Project teams on BIM-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support BIM coordination on projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and data exchange.
  • Utilize Revit to support design teams, driving efficiency and accuracy in our digital construction processes.
  • Assist project teams with BIM queries, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct regular Model Review exercises, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Perform Coordination and Clash Detection exercises, identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, driving project success and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of our business BIM structure, driving innovation and best practices.
Requirements
  • A Degree/HND/HNC in Engineering is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with 3D modelling software, with a strong understanding of Autodesk BIM 360, Revit, and Navisworks Manage.
  • Knowledge of ISO:19650 and UK building construction fundamentals, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
