Wayman Learning Trust is seeking a highly qualified and experienced French Teacher to join our co-educational school. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach French from KS3 to KS5 to high-achieving and well-behaved students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote student understanding and achievement, assessing and evaluating student progress, and providing constructive feedback.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach French to students from KS3 to KS5, focusing on their individual needs and abilities.
  • Design and deliver lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, promoting inclusivity and equality.
  • Evaluate student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure optimal results.
  • Requirements:
  • A degree in French or a related field, preferably with a formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential, as well as the legal ability to work in the UK.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills are necessary for this role.
  • Fluency in French is expected.
