We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Distribution Centre Operative to join our team at Corus Consultancy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting parcels by hand into compartments on a sorting frame, bagging and labelling parcels for their destination, and moving mail around the office between conveyor belts, loading docks and trolleys.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Sorting items by hand into compartments on a sorting frame
  • Bagging and labelling parcels for their destination
  • Moving mail around the office between conveyor belts, loading docks and trolleys
  • Loading and unloading wheeled containers from vehicles to the dispatch areas
  • Scanning parcels

The ideal candidate will have a good level of English language both written and spoken, be IT literate and confident in using scanners/computers, and have safety boots and hi-viz jacket.

Previous experience in a similar position will be desirable.

Working hours:

Days: 3:45PM to 8:45PM, 12AM to 9AM, 4PM to 12AM

Nights: 11:15PM to 7:45AM

Pay: £13.90/14.50 P/H

Due to the nature of the role, we will require to carry out an in-depth security clearance check which can take up to 7 working days.
