Logistics Operations Manager

As a Depot Manager at Brook Street, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment. This includes overseeing stock control and maintenance, coordinating fuel loading and offloading processes, and liaising with suppliers. You will also manage health and safety matters, site security, and vehicle movements. Additionally, you will coordinate vehicle pickups, deliveries, and repairs, primarily focusing on the Huntly and Montrose areas. Collaborating with external partners such as Alfons Haar and RTN is also a key aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring a safe and compliant work environment
Overseeing stock control and maintenance
Coordinating fuel loading and offloading processes
Liaising with suppliers
Managing health and safety matters
Managing site security
Overseeing vehicle movements
Coordinating vehicle pickups, deliveries, and repairs
Coordinating and executing the commissioning and decommissioning of road tankers
Verifying the functionality of systems and equipment before handing over to drivers for field testing
Validating and authorising timesheets
Requirements:
Strong organisational skills to manage the Huntly-based fleet
Strong people management skills
Ideally have CPC qualification
Excellent communication skills to coordinate across the business with clients and suppliers
Strong Health and Safety reporting background
Good knowledge of ISO and quality management
