We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Oak Furnitureland. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and transportation services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a fleet of vehicles, maintaining compliance with all aspects of transport legislation, and ensuring the safety and well-being of staff. You will also be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse, including staff management, vehicle maintenance, and inventory control.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and safe operation of the warehouse
  • Maintaining accurate records of staff and vehicle performance
  • Coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse, including staff management and vehicle maintenance
  • Ensuring compliance with all aspects of transport legislation, including EU and UK domestic rules
  • Managing staff performance, including performance reviews and disciplinary procedures

Requirements for the role include:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and management
  • Knowledge of transport legislation and regulations
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of staff
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • IT literacy and knowledge of WMS systems
