Job Description

Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team as an Inside Sales Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive business growth in the UK and German territories, with a focus on developing and executing sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Collaborate with Territory Sales Managers to understand customer needs and develop sales strategies to expand the database of prospects within the territory.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Manager teams to overcome obstacles and secure new business opportunities through cold-calling, lead follow-up, and outbound communications.
  • Work closely with Territory Sales Managers to develop a strong sales pipeline and close deals, ensuring profitable sales growth.
  • Conduct online product demonstrations as required and regularly use and update the CRM platform (MS 365) to manage territory information.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, programs, and relevant legal requirements.
  • Exhibit a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with strong business acumen and a focus on driving sales growth.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English - ESSENTIAL.
  • Fluent in German - HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business management, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Experience in the food & beverage or life sciences market is preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Proficiency in sales negotiation.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong phone presence with experience in high-volume calling.
  • Experience using Dynamic CRM.
