Secondary Maths Tutor Position

Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled Maths Education Specialist to provide high-quality tutoring services to students in secondary level Maths.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in secondary level Maths, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each student.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans to address students' specific learning gaps and objectives.
- Regularly assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure optimal understanding and engagement.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure students' academic success and provide regular progress updates.
- Utilise a range of teaching techniques to engage students and enhance their understanding of Maths concepts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability to work with students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt teaching methods to meet their needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level, with a strong track record of student progress and achievement.
Working Conditions:
The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future. The Maths Education Specialist may need to travel to different locations within Buckinghamshire for tutoring sessions.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' and require all applicants to undergo a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
