Job Title: Secondary Maths Tutor

Teaching Personnel is seeking a skilled Secondary Maths Tutor to provide high-quality educational support to students in Buckinghamshire.

Job Type:

This is a part-time, temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Salary:

The hourly rate for this role is £20-£30, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in secondary level Maths, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of each student.
  • Create personalised learning plans to address students' specific requirements and goals.
  • Regularly assess students' progress and adjust your teaching methods to ensure optimal understanding and engagement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure students' academic success and well-being.
  • Utilise a range of teaching techniques to engage students and enhance their understanding of Maths concepts.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with students who have special educational needs (SEN).
Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field is required.

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level is necessary for this role.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent. You may need to travel to different locations within Buckinghamshire for tutoring sessions.
