Job Description
Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support the educational needs of students in our Alternative Provision in Wakefield. This role involves providing one-to-one or small group support to students with special needs, including those with autism.

**Responsibilities**
* Provide support to students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.
* Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
* Assist students in their academic and social development.

**Requirements**
* Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs and challenging behaviours.
* Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
* Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviours.

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
