Estimated salary for this position is around $150,000 - $200,000 per annum.

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. System Designer to join our team at ARM. As a Principal Design Methodology Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing compute subsystem products and SoCs for various market segments using the latest IP products from Arm and selected 3rd party vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with Engineering Directors and Technical Leads to build and agree on common requirements for design-related flow development.
  • Developing internal engineering flows for system design activities, including lint, cdc/rdc, sdc, and machine-readable specifications for automation of best practices.
  • Collecting and analyzing design metrics and working with tools from multiple EDA vendors.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of EDA flow, scripting languages (Python, Perl, PHP), version control (SVN, Git, Gerrit), machine-readable specifications, continuous integration, and delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills and team management experience.

Nice to have skills include High Level Synthesis (HLS), IP protection and export restrictions, functional safety standards (ISO 26262), global IP and SoC development projects.
