Behaviour Mentor Role in Manchester Secondary Academy

We are currently seeking an experienced behaviour mentor to join our team at a secondary academy based in Manchester.
The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to build rapport with students.
Job Description:
This role involves working closely with pupils who display challenging behaviour, providing individualised support and guidance to help them reintegrate into the classroom.
You will work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop strategies that address the needs of these students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering 1-1 and group support sessions to students
- Collaborating with teachers to develop tailored learning plans
- Providing de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in secondary schools or academies
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
Estimated Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
