About the Role:

We are seeking a Child Development Assistant to support children with moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs at our school in Eastbourne. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

You will assist the class teacher in providing individualised support to students who face various challenges, including trauma, neglect, ADHD, Autism, and mental health issues. Your primary focus will be on developing positive relationships with students and contributing to their overall well-being.

To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding when interacting with students who exhibit challenging behaviour. Your adaptability and flexibility will enable you to respond effectively to changing situations and develop creative solutions to address individual needs.

Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is around £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, considering the location and industry standards.
