Job Title: Primary School Assistant

About Academics Ltd:

We are a reputable primary school in Eastbourne seeking a dedicated assistant to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to gain experience in a primary school setting and develop their skills in supporting students and teachers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced teachers and other support staff to enhance the learning experience of our students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Supporting students with their academic and personal needs
  • Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Engaging with parents and carers to promote student progress and well-being

Requirements:

  • A genuine interest in education and working with children
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use educational software

Estimated Salary: £18,933 - £22,836 per annum (dependent on experience)
