Glen Callum Associates is a dynamic and fast-growing company at the forefront of the automotive aftermarket specialist equipment sector. We are seeking a skilled Technical Education Trainer to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training courses to distributors, end-users, and internal staff. They will oversee examinations in collaboration with a dedicated training administrator and ensure a safe, healthy, and engaging learning environment for all trainees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of our distribution network, end-users, and internal teams.
  2. Examination Oversight: Collaborate with the training administrator to manage examinations and ensure compliance with IMI risk and compliance standards.
  3. Learning Environment: Create a conducive learning atmosphere that promotes effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
  4. Accreditation: Oversee company accreditation with the IMI Awards and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
  5. Training Materials: Design, develop, and update training materials, courses, and modules to align with business needs and market requirements.
  6. Candidate Support: Provide technical support to candidates and collaborate with the Sales team to address customer training inquiries.
  7. Registration and Assessment: Handle candidate registrations, assessment results, certificate claims, and amendments within the IMI Awards portal.
  8. Organizational Skills: Coordinate training sessions, materials, locations, and travel arrangements with the training administrator and other departments.
  9. Policies and Procedures: Regularly review and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance and understanding across the team.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: The ideal candidate should have experience in the automotive industry, including vehicle diagnostics and air-conditioning systems.
  2. Certifications: A valid refrigerant handling (F-Gas) certificate and a valid driver's license are highly desirable.

Estimated Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum + pension + 22 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), making it an attractive offer for the right candidate.
