Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum. We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Executive to join our team on a Hybrid basis in Hull. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with the team.

About the Role:

As an award-winning law firm, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our clients. We require an enthusiastic individual who can undertake legal cashier duties, including allocating bank receipts, reviewing, and setting up electronic banking products.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, prioritising their workload and meeting set deadlines. Key responsibilities include:

* Processing accounting transactions to the financial management system
* Office, client, and inter-account payment and receipt transactions
* Performing daily Bank Reconciliations
* Preparation of Client and Firm bank account, firm credit card, and other control account reconciliations
* Running reports regarding client balances and disbursements, analysing, and rectifying any issues
* Processing and payment of employee expenses
* Daily Banking of all cheques/cash coming into the firm
* Checking purchase invoices received into the firm, posting onto the system, distributing to relevant people for sign-off and payment when due
* Archiving files from Proclaim on a weekly basis and transferring files to Costs Waiting
* Dealing with Legal Aid monies coming in
* Reporting identified breaches of SRA Accounts Rules to the Account Manager and ensuring they are accurately recorded in the COFA breaches log
