We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Advisor to join our team at Learning Curve Group. As a Learning Support Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with additional learning needs, ensuring they have access to the full range of learning experiences and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide structured support to learners with additional learning needs, using a range of effective interventions and strategies.
- Work closely with tutors and other support staff to ensure learners receive the support they need to succeed.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of learners with additional learning needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with Post 16 learners.
- Knowledge and experience of working with learners with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP).
- GCSE, 'O' Level or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English.
- NVQ3 or equivalent as recognized by the National Occupational Standards for Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Knowledge and understanding of the different social, cultural, and physical needs of learners.
- Calm and patient attitude.
