We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Advisor to join our team at Learning Curve Group. As a Learning Support Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with additional learning needs, ensuring they have access to the full range of learning experiences and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide structured support to learners with additional learning needs, using a range of effective interventions and strategies.
  • Work closely with tutors and other support staff to ensure learners receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of learners with additional learning needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience working with Post 16 learners.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with learners with Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP).
  • GCSE, 'O' Level or equivalent qualifications in Maths and English.
  • NVQ3 or equivalent as recognized by the National Occupational Standards for Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the different social, cultural, and physical needs of learners.
  • Calm and patient attitude.
