Electrical Design Opportunities

ENG Bauen is seeking an Electrical Designer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team.

The company is expanding to support a variety of energy and infrastructure projects that are crucial for the UK's long-term economic development.

This permanent position offers the chance to work on critical projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors.

The role will involve the full project lifecycle, from concept through to commissioning, and will provide significant opportunities for career progression with an industry leader known for delivering complex engineering projects across the UK and Europe.

The Role:

  • Electrical design work for large-scale projects within the energy, oil & gas, and petrochemical sectors
  • Supporting projects through all phases, from conceptual design to commissioning, including both greenfield and brownfield applications
  • Managing the electrical design and control aspects within set budgets and project timelines

The Ideal Candidate:

  • BSc, BEng, MSc, or MEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering projects, ideally in energy, oil & gas, petrochemicals, or similar sectors
  • Strong knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition standards and electrical systems design
  • Proficiency with 3D modelling software (SP3D or PDMS preferred)
