Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in a renowned FMCG manufacturing giant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum line efficiency through a combination of planned and reactive maintenance and technical challenges.

  • Perform fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipment.
  • Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring a rapid response on plant equipment and machinery breakdowns.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a range of Automation machinery including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and robots.
  • Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPI's through planned, preventative and predictive maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline in electrical or mechanical maintenance engineering.
  • Ideally automated materials handling and or packaging machines experience.
  • Production line experience but qualified engineers will be offered training and development.
