Job Type: Permanent

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team at a renowned FMCG manufacturing giant. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production lines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure maximum line efficiency.
  • Conduct fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC controlled equipment.
  • Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on automation machinery, including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots.
  • Deliver on plant uptime and maintenance KPIs through planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice-trained or NVQ level 3 in electrical or mechanical maintenance engineering.
  • Experience with automated materials handling and packaging machines.
  • Production line experience, with qualified engineers offered training and development.
  • Proactive approach to fault-finding, commitment to continuous improvement, and personal development.
