About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our neonatal team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborn babies and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced nursing care to newborn babies, including assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to neonatal care.
Requirements
  • Qualification in neonatal specialty.
  • ANNP qualification or Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.
  • Registered non-medical prescriber.
  • Evidence of management and leadership skills.
  • Awareness of research and evidence-based practice in the clinical setting.
