Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our Supported Living team in Northallerton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and rewarding position that requires a caring and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others. As a Male Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our service users, enabling them to participate in daily activities, social events, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support service users with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Assist with transportation to day centers, social activities, and community events
  • Encourage and support service users to develop their skills and interests
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a positive attitude towards supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
