About Hoxton Farms: We're a leading company in the cellular agriculture industry, dedicated to producing high-quality cultivated fat at pilot scale. Our team is growing quickly as we scale up our pilot manufacturing facility in London.

We're seeking a highly experienced bioprocess engineer to lead our bioprocessing programme. As Head of Bioprocessing, you will be responsible for technical leadership, bioreactor design, bioprocess optimisation, and large-scale production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise experiments and plan project roadmaps
  • Define the long-term strategic direction of our bioprocess R&D and production
  • Coordinate with upstream R&D and food programmes
  • Meet technical milestones before series B and beyond

Requirements:

  • 8 years' industry experience in bioprocessing
  • Deep technical expertise in mammalian cell culture scale-up (>200L), process optimisation and downstream processing
  • Experience building and leading a team
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP environments
  • Familiarity with building and running a manufacturing plant
  • Strong communication skills
