Job Title: Head of Commercial

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced bioprocess engineer to lead our bioprocessing programme, including bioreactor design, bioprocess optimisation and large-scale production. As Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for technical leadership, supervising experiments, planning project roadmaps and defining the long-term strategic direction of our bioprocess R&D and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership of bioprocessing programme
  • Bioreactor design and bioprocess optimisation
  • Large-scale production and process development
  • Supervising experiments and planning project roadmaps
  • Defining long-term strategic direction of bioprocess R&D and production

Requirements:

  • 8 years' industry experience in bioprocessing
  • Deep technical expertise in mammalian cell culture scale-up (>200L), process optimisation and downstream processing
  • Experience building and leading a team, managing a multidisciplinary technical roadmap and setting long-term cross-functional R&D strategy
  • Familiarity with GMP/GLP environments
  • Familiarity with building and running a manufacturing plant
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical information to diverse internal and external stakeholders
