EdEx is seeking a highly motivated and academically gifted individual to fill the role of Humanities Teaching Assistant. This opportunity involves providing support to students in need, particularly those with SEND/SEMH needs.

About the Role

This teaching assistant position requires someone with a strong academic background in humanities, including history, philosophy, religion, geography, languages, and more. As a Humanities Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and students to assist with humanities-based subjects, helping out across KS3, KS4, and KS5.

The ideal candidate will have previous school-based experience working with children of all abilities and ages. A passion for learning and making a positive difference from the start is essential. Additionally, an extensive understanding of SEND/SEMH needs is required.

About You
  • A humanities graduate with strong academics, including a 2:1 or 1st class degree
  • Previous school-based experience working with children of all abilities and ages

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive training program, we provide a supportive and close-knit team environment.
