Job Description Summary

The Irlam Associates Group is seeking an Administrative Finance Specialist to support the finance department in performing various administrative and financial tasks. This role involves managing multiple bank accounts, processing payments, reconciling accounts, monitoring cashflow, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple bank accounts and perform bank reconciliations
• Process payments, including checks, credit card payments, and direct debits
• Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets

• Monitor cashflow and prepare financial forecasts
• Manage credit collection processes and maintain relationships with suppliers
• Prepare and submit financial reports to management

• Process payroll, including calculating PAYE, AEOs, and VAT
• Manage expenses and maintain expense records
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable

Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in a finance or accounting role (preferred)
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and MS Excel
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum
