Company Overview: Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd is a leading recruitment agency specialising in the defence and aerospace industry.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our client, a global leader in the defence industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, integrating, and providing through-life support to submarine platforms in the Royal Naval fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure systems and products to support the delivery of an appropriately secure and resilient product.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage security risks following industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001.
  • Apply security baselines, mitigations, and controls to ensure the security of submarine systems and products.
  • Produce RMADS (Risk Management and Assessment Document) in accordance with MOD policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security challenges related to operational technologies and control systems.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field or information security.
  • Industry-recognised security certifications such as CCP, CISSP, or CISM, or the ability to obtain them.
  • Extensive experience in applying security baselines, mitigations, and controls.
  • Background in Product Security, particularly in the defence, maritime, or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with MOD policies and regulations such as SPF, JSP 440, and JSP 604.
