About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Research Assistant to join our team in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Oxford. The successful candidate will support the general programme of human immunology within the blood-stage malaria group, including lab duties, preparing reagents, cataloguing frozen samples, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the general programme of human immunology within the blood-stage malaria group
  • Maintain lab supplies, consumables, and instruments
  • Prepare reagents and catalog frozen samples
  • Conduct data analysis and contribute to research projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant biological subject
  • Previous laboratory experience and good communication skills
  • Ability to interpret scientific data and work as part of a team
  • Experience with cellular and humoral immunology techniques, ELISA, and sterile cell culture (full training will be given)
