Job Title: Activities Coordinator

At Careline Lifestyles, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have access to a range of leisure activities that cater to their interests and abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support guests to lead a full and active life, assessing their skills, abilities, and preferences on a regular basis.
  • Organize and lead activities within the home, such as handicrafts, games, quizzes, cooking, and reading.
  • Plan and accompany guests on outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Provide support and assistance to guests who require it, enabling them to participate in activities that they may not have been able to access otherwise.
  • Contribute to the development of care plans, focusing on individual progression, development, and fulfillment.
  • Assist in carrying out risk assessments and ensuring that all activities are safe and suitable for our guests.
  • Maintain accurate and clear records of work practice, adhering to established record-keeping and confidentiality policies.
  • Report any changes in guests' condition to the Manager or Senior Care on duty.
  • Adhere to all aspects of confidentiality and not discuss company or guest information with unauthorized individuals.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and managers to provide a high-quality service to our guests.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management. They will also have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting independence, choice, and respect for individual rights and preferences.
