Job Title: Project Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Sales Manager to join our team at Power Electrics. As a key member of our aftermarket team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for upgrades and modification of generator installations and switchgear systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Seek out and respond to project opportunities with new and existing customers in the areas of generator repair and refurbishment, relocation of generators and ancillary equipment, upgrade of electrical and mechanical generator systems, and project sales process management.
  • Manage project sales process from opportunity stage to completion, including preparing prequalification and tender responses, and submitting monthly forecasts and reports.
  • Develop the strategy for growing project business and interact with external specialist companies, end users, contractors, facility management companies, key suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are safe and tidy.
Requirements:
  • Possess a relevant qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, such as HND/HNC or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing service sales environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously to achieve or exceed agreed targets.
  • Good customer handling skills and a sound commercial perspective.
  • Good exposure to and understanding of ISO 9001.
