About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Lead to join our team at Kingston. As an Equipment Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the overall budget and resource management objectives, involving management of the budget. You will also deliver equipment training and demonstrations to prescribers, organize and chair equipment operational meetings, and deal with escalations. Additionally, you will provide advice to clinical and non-clinical prescribers in relation to equipment and minor adaptation provision, monitor and manage discrepancies in equipment billing, and ensure robust systems for appropriate and timely prescription of equipment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the overall budget and resource management objectives, involving management of the budget.
  • Deliver equipment training and demonstrations to prescribers.
  • Organize and chair equipment operational meetings.
  • Deal with escalations, give advice on general equipment prescriptions, and keep the equipment catalogue up to date.
  • Coordinate and chair operational meetings for continuous dialogue with prescribers.
  • Provide advice to clinical and non-clinical prescribers in relation to equipment and minor adaptation provision.
  • Monitor and manage discrepancies in equipment billing and assist with invoicing.
  • Ensure robust systems for appropriate and timely prescription of equipment.
  • Develop innovation and value for money in equipment services.
  • Work as part of the ASC Commissioning & Operational team, reporting to the Principal Occupational Therapist and Commissioning Lead.
