CNC Lathe Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Duties**:

- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role
- Proficient in CAD software and SolidWorks
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
- Familiarity with hand tools, mill, weld, and assembly operations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: £16.00-£19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 70 per week
