Position Details

We are seeking a highly skilled primary teacher to work in our Surrey-based school. This role requires a dedicated and passionate educator who can deliver high-quality education and support to students with diverse needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging lessons that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
  • Student Progress: Monitor, assess, and report on student progress to parents, colleagues, and senior staff.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in autism education and incorporate them into your teaching approach.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Teaching Qualification: Hold a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.) and demonstrate ongoing professional development.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Be proficient in teaching a range of subjects and adapting to different learning styles.
  • Experience Working with Students with Autism: Have relevant knowledge and experience working with students with ASD, SEMH, and PDA profiles.
  • Familiarity with Safeguarding Principles: Be familiar with safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
  • Behavior Management Strategies: Possess experience in managing challenging behaviors and developing strategies to promote positive behavior.

Compensation Package:

This role offers a competitive salary of £39,757 - £62,468 per year (M1 - UPS3 Fringe) plus a £5,000 welcome bonus for qualified teachers. Enjoy a 40-hour workweek with opportunities for career growth and development.
