Job Title: Policy Analyst and Research Advisor to Professor Stern

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst and Research Advisor to join our team at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Stern and the Institute's staff to carry out policy-oriented research and policy analysis on climate change and the environment.

About the Role

The appointee will be responsible for producing high-quality analysis on climate change aimed at decision makers in the public, private, and third sector. This will involve working closely with Professor Stern and the Institute's staff to develop and implement research projects, as well as contributing to the development of policy briefs and other research outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct policy-oriented research and policy analysis on climate change and the environment
  • Develop and implement research projects in collaboration with Professor Stern and the Institute's staff
  • Produce high-quality analysis on climate change aimed at decision makers in the public, private, and third sector
  • Contribute to the development of policy briefs and other research outputs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a postgraduate degree or equivalent in economics, environmental/development economics, environmental policy, or a related field. You will also need to have the ability to produce high-quality research and policy analysis, as well as knowledge and experience across a range of climate change related disciplines, particularly climate change economics and policy.
