Care Home Driver

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and safe driver to join our team at Emerson Grange, a 85 bedded care home in Hextable, Kent. As part of the Care Village, our care home provides luxurious surroundings and the very best in care and support.
This is a full-time role, predominantly Monday to Friday, however flexibility will be required to cover ad-hoc weekend transport needs. Your assistance may also be required in helping with any mobility issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide scheduled transport for our apartment owners
- Carry out scheduled checks on all company vehicles, recording checks on appropriate documentation.
- Report any vehicle defects as soon as identified and, if necessary, investigate and report findings.
- Ensure that the Company vehicles are cleaned inside and out on a weekly basis, or sooner if necessary. Arrange for vehicles to be valeted as required.
- Ensure that all vehicles have an adequate supply of fuel in the tank, using agreed suppliers. Complete journey logs each time vehicles are used.
- Ensure vehicle security
- Be aware of tax and MOT certificate dates; communicating with the Administrator near due dates.
Requirements:
- Clean driving licence
- Aged 25 and over
