Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Manager to join our team at Domus Recruitment. As a Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of a 46-bedded Nursing and Residential Home for the elderly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Nursing Home, ensuring high standards of care and quality of service.
- Manage budgets and financial resources to ensure the efficient running of the home.
- Conduct staff appraisals, meetings, and disciplinaries to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Liaise with external healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for residents.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies.
- Build strong relationships with regional and operations directors to drive business growth and development.
Requirements:
- Registered with the CQC.
- At least 1 year's experience in managing a Nursing Home setting.
- NVQ Level 4 or 5 in management.
- Experience working with the elderly and dementia patients.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Clinical skills and ability to manage teams.
