Job Title: Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Naz Project London. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to the Chief Executive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Control: Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the organization's financial stability and growth.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to the Board of Trustees and other stakeholders.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and standards, including those related to charity accounting and governance.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Develop and maintain effective financial systems and processes, including accounting software, to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance to the Chief Executive and other senior managers, and lead the development of financial policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Minimum of AAT accounting qualification or studying towards a professional qualification, such as ACCA or CIMA.
  • Skills and Experience: Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office software and accounting packages.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Knowledge of not-for-profit organizations and small companies' statutory reporting requirements. Understanding of financial regulations and laws, including those related to charity accounting and governance.
