Manufacturing Systems Test Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Systems Test Engineer to join our team at Elekta AB. As a key player in our manufacturing process, you will be responsible for testing and commissioning linear accelerators, ensuring compliance with quality standards and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and commission linear accelerators to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Create and maintain machine data as per released procedures and work instructions.
  • Fault find and fix machine issues.
  • Ensure adequate control and disposition of non-conforming material and provide necessary documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, taking responsibility for tools, equipment, shelter, and any product being tested.
  • Participate and contribute to the DQT process.
  • Carry out necessary duties for the benefit, maintenance, and progression of the test department.

Requirements:

  • OND/HNC/Degree in Electronics/Physics based subject or an equivalent.
  • Ability to understand and operate complex systems equipment.
  • Ability to fault find complex systems equipment at both component and machine level.
  • Experience in any of the following fields would be beneficial: Linear Accelerators, Control systems, High Voltage equipment, Mechanical equipment, Software applications for complex electro/mechanical equipment, or Vacuum systems.
